This building design combines a catslide garage & car port combination. The oak posts, braces, beams and garage doors have been treated and stained to stop the sun light silvering the timber. The softwood cladding has been painted black which ties in with the natural slate roof, black aluminium guttering, the ironmongery and the black external lighting.
Extra chunky 200mm x 200mm oak posts & beams have been used whilst keeping the building layout to a standard three bay slab size. The main span of the left hand side and the front of two bays of this carport garage structure has been left open allowing easy access in and out ideal for everyday use. Whilst the final bay has an internal partition and oak garage doors which create a secure lockable storage space.
Our clients have lovingly stained the timber on this garage and done some nice finishing touches which further enhance the aesthetics of this building, we think it looks great and glad our clients are thrilled with their bespoke oak frame garage carport project.
