This useful building is from our Acorn Catslide Garage range. The oak frame structure has been adapted to allow for custom sized bays. When we carried out a site visit the site had tight access not only to park but also lack of space to build a new garage, this was over-come by the placement of the new building and bespoke sized bays that created easy access in and out.
The left hand side bay has been left open and the right hand side bay has a pair of handmade oak garage doors creating secure storage. Larch weatherboard has been used on this building which looked great on this crisp sunny morning. As the building ages the colours will soften and the frame & weatherboard will start to silver.
The full hipped roof design was used on this design with handmade clay tiles. At the Oak Designs Company we have found that when getting planning permission for our clients, the full hipped roof design on the oak frame garages is normally one of the favourite choices, by local planning authorities.
