One of the bays of this two bay full span garage has been turned into a workshop whilst the other has been partitioned to separate the two spaces and has been used as an entertainment/storage area. A large amount of natural light can get into this building through the use of two mullion windows, two double casement windows and four full length French windows. These full length French windows have two glazed doors which open out from the side of this garage onto the garden and hillside views appreciated further by an outdoor table and chairs area. This is a superb example of where a garage can be so much more than just a garage and where our dual purpose buildings really set the bar in simple but effective, high quality oak framed garaging.
A pair of garage doors have been used and painted grey for the entrance into the workshop giving the space security and the ability to move large bulky items or machinery in and out of the workshop with ease. A gable shaped roof has been used with machine made clay tiles that have a mottled blue and red appearance.
Above the workshop bay a mezzanine floor has been created which gives a very smart storage space, one that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get the most out of their garage.
